Important: Japan Uses 100V Electricity
Nepal uses 230V, but Japan uses 100V with flat two-pin plugs. Many Nepali appliances, such as mixer grinders and hair dryers, will not work properly in Japan without a step-up voltage converter. Before sending, ask the receiver in Japan if they already have a converter, or check that the appliance supports 100–240V.
How Much Does It Cost?
Electrical items are charged by the weight of the whole box, including packing.

How to Pack Electrical Items for Japan
- Use the original box if you have it.
- Remove jars and blades from a mixer grinder and wrap each part separately.
- Wrap the item in bubble wrap or soft clothes so it cannot move.
- Keep the purchase bill. It helps if Japanese customs asks about the value.
- Tell us the brand and model when you list the items.
Japanese Customs
Every parcel is checked by Japanese customs. Depending on the value of the goods, the receiver in Japan may be asked to pay import duty or consumption tax. We handle personal shipments only, not electrical goods for resale.
